Machine Operator

Our client a big dairy company, is currently looking for experienced machine operators to join their team operating out of their new warehouse located in Dandenong. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of growing team, so don’t miss your opportunity to apply!

This role is currently offering day and afternoon shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine setup and operation
• experience in process cheese or melted chocolate manufacturing highly regarded
• experience using Vertical Form Fill Seal (Propac) machines highly regarded
• Monitoring and quality control
• Machine changeovers and line adjustments
• Raw material preparation – De-carton various raw ingredients from our low care to high care production rooms (up to 20kgs in weight).
• Line feeding – continuously feed blocks into hopper/loading station
• Product handling and documentation
• Cleaning and sanitation (CIP & COP) – including disassembly and reassembly of equipment for manual cleaning
• Comply with hygiene and safety requirements

Our ideal Candidate:

• Preferably prior experience with machine operating
• Mechanical aptitude
• Background in food production preferable but not necessary
